Sculpture Park

I am not into modern art and even less sculptures. So I was pleasantly suprised how much I enjoyed our visit today to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at West Brotton, just outside Wakefield.
There were some amazing works of art in a pleasant setting. The weather for once behaved itself, so we had a very enjoyable day.
The first of many photographs I will post on here is of an installation entilted "Nuria and Irma" by the artist Jaume Plensa. Situated on the roof of the underground gallery, they are huge heads from a mesh of steel.
As you walk around them the direction they are facing constantly changes.
The exhibits change from time to time so this will be a yearly visit of ours from now on.
